While a wax is simple to apply being place the paste on the car then wipe off, a ceramic coat is different with it being a liquid of clear solution that bonds with the paint to create a coat that is semi-permanent which protects the paint from light swirls, scratches, dust, or rain before applying this the most important process must be done to ensure the coating bonds to the paint which is a strip wash for the removal of any previous placed sealant or wax, iron remover, clay bar, then the paint correction stage to remove swirls and scratches the vehicle has.

• If the ceramic coating is not maintained well with proper washing, drying, or adding a booster this can lead the coat going away in about 3 years instead of 6 years
